The importance of dental aesthetics in dentistry is increasing day by day. Thanks to new developing technologies, aesthetic dental applications are coming to the fore. Today, metal-supported porcelains, which have been used for many years to cover teeth with crowns, are now being replaced by zirconium-based porcelains.

Zirconium dental coatings provide a much more aesthetic appearance than old metal dental coating applications, thanks to their ability to transmit light. In addition, zirconium dental coatings are very compatible with the gums. Unlike metal-supported crowns, they do not cause any disease or allergic problems in the gums.

In porcelains with a zirconium substructure, zirconium, a white alloy, is used as the substructure instead of metal. Since there is no metal reflection underneath, the artificial appearance seen in metal-based porcelains does not occur.

Gingival compatibility is much better than classical metal-based porcelains. Gum discoloration, which is frequently seen in metal-based porcelains, is absolutely invisible in zirconium.

Since it is a 99% tissue-friendly material, it is not allergic. It is more advantageous in terms of general body health than metal-supported prostheses.

Since their heat insulation properties are very good, they transmit less heat to the teeth than metal-based porcelains. In this way, hot/cold sensitivity does not occur in teeth on which zirconium-based porcelain is applied.

Thanks to their high resistance of 900 -1200 mega pascals, they can be used safely on the teeth in the back areas. While they are so strong, they are also elegant and aesthetic enough to transmit light.

Since it has the ability to mask the underlying tooth color, excellent aesthetic results can be achieved even on very dark colored teeth.

Since they are produced with very precise work, they fit exactly into the cut tooth surface. In this way, since there is no gap between the zirconium porcelain and the tooth through which bacteria can leak, it does not allow caries to form.

They are healthy materials that do not cause bad taste in the mouth, gum problems and bad breath.

They can be used safely on both front and back teeth.
